Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only child to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she turned 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also highly praised. The other Oscar nominated film starring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous notable international and national projects.
